new year......

seems like time goes faster and faster these days...another holiday has come and gone. I enjoyed all the company of family and friends, and the new memories that were made. my wish for the new year is happiness and good health to all my loved ones.

life changes....time marches on

seems the days go bye quicker and quicker these days. grand kids are growing, situations change. my everyday routine isn't usuall...it'a all over the map. my constant companion seems a little bored with me...time to shake things up a bit! I wonder what this is gonna do? lets rock his world! <3

good old summertime

summer is here! smack-dab-in the middle! hot hot hot enjoyed the company of a very good friend last week. can't beleave I didn't take more pics while she was here! oh a day off....and nothing to do! too hot to be outside, don't feel like doing anything inside...oh well, gotta make it look like I did something

thankfull feeling spoken this time of year! i am very thankfull for my family, and my friends. even though she may be far away, she seems to hear my mind and feels my heart.....i am a very blessed woman for all the love i have in my life. thank you all for being <3

my baby girl, Kori, had her second baby girl on Sunday April 22, 2012. Adrienne Lucille was born at 7:52 pm 7 lbs 8 oz 21 1/2 " long. her Oma and her daddy were blessed to wittness this fantastic event. on monday evening the big sister Carisma Jean met her baby sister for the very first time! only 16 months old, she was very good with the baby. All of Oma's girls are doing just fine! <3 love them <3

the new kitchen curtains

not very good shots of them, but at least i found them in the pic's! my camera date has been messed up for over a year now...he fixed it and now i can't find anything! lol
so the brown with the circles are the back door curtains, usually not closed, but you can! after hemming them by hand and ironing all the pkg folds out of them...i like them. then while watching !9 kids and counting....i see my curtains in Josh and Anna's house...they shop at walmart too! lol

long days leave me tired all over

just tired to the bone. deep down exhausted. i want to sleep...deep...and a little longer since it is my day off.

i am really liking the pantry doors more now! the "honey butter" colored walls makes them stand out! as you see...i like old coffee pots and tea pots...these are from my grandmother and my mom (cords have long since been gone!) i enjoy seeing them every morning, they make me smile :)

after using my two days off this week, and doing most of the up and down the ladder on my own...i am very proud to say it's done...maybe not perfect...but i don't claim to be perfect....just ME! lol a little rough around the edges and weird at times...but "Moi"

how time flies so much faster as we age!

today is my baby girls, baby's birthday! Carisma turns one year old and is happy and healthy, and growing up so fast! she walks and waves and plays patty-cake very well. i love her personality, sometimes her mommy, when crying, and sometimes her daddy, with the grinding and attitude! lol i love Oma's girl, she gives me kisses! and nobody else wink-wink!
and thinking about the next little sweetheart to be born, due so quickly, and almost time to spell her name once and for all! lol j/k Adryann Lucille ( for now) Auntie is gonna call her "Al"

happy new year

2012 the new date to write! i wonder how many times i will do it wrong?!! Resolutions are good, they can be helpfull tools, i need to make a few and do my very best to keep them going till the end of the actual year! right?

ok this starts the birthday season around my family. mid january is mild, but the end of Jan into Febuary is crazyness. but untill the new babies arrival mid april, we hit a very slow spot!

granddaughter turns one year old this week! i am totally shocked, where does the time go? faster and faster it seems to slip away!

i am trying to SKATE through the holidays. i made sure this year the stamps were here and ready to be placed on cards....even redid the address book this year. so the xmas card list in half way done, first batch in the mail today! i need more stamps...go figure huh!!!! the tree is up and lights almost done...next ornaments, gonna be selective this year...only placing the ones who speak to me (unfortunenatly they all have a story to tell me!) and each one has been in a box since last year! lol i would want to come out and shine too!
